Louisiana Woman Arrested For Shooting At Crop Duster

A Louisiana woman has been arrested for shooting at a crop duster that was spraying for mosquitoes.

The plane was spraying for mosquitoes in Ouachita Parish near Monroe when 40-year-old Stacy Nguyen Rodgers took shots at it.

According to the Monroe News Star, Rodgers told authorities that a drone was flying over her property and she was trying to shoot it down. Reportedly, a video taken by a witness clearly shows that it was a manned plane and Rodgers can be heard stating "He's coming back to taunt us" on that video.

Rodgers used a pistol to shoot at the plane and squeezed off three rounds, none of which hit the airplane. She was arrested on charges of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments and has since bonded out of jail.
