The College Football Selection Committee released its third look at the 2019 playoff rankings on Tuesday and after another offensive explosion, the LSU Tigers find themselves atop the college football mountain right now.

This week the Tigers will return home for the final two games of the regular season as the Arkansas Razorbacks head to Baton Rouge this weekend. The Razorbacks are having a very down season as they're 2-8 overall and 0-6 in the SEC.

LSU received 54 of a possible 62 first-place votes with Ohio State garnering five votes and Clemson got three.

Here's how the top 10 shook out:

  1. LSU (10-0)
  2. Ohio State (10-0)
  3. Clemson (11-0)
  4. Georgia (9-1)
  5. Alabama (9-1)
  6. Oregon (9-1)
  7. Utah (9-1)
  8. Penn State (9-1)
  9. Oklahoma (9-1)
  10. Minnesota (9-1)

There wasn't a lot of movement in the top 10 this week as Minnesota fell from eight to 10, which bumped Oklahoma and Penn State each up one spot.
