The LSU Tigers are kings of the college football world and living large. The goal has been achieved and the partying has been ongoing.

However, with the end of the season comes the end of this particular team with players graduating, transferring, or leaving early for the NFL Draft.

On Wednesday, junior safety Grant Delpit has decided to forgo his senior season and will tackle the next chapter of his football career, the NFL. This via Twitter:

Tiger Nation will certainly miss Delpit who received the honor of wearing the number seven jersey, recorded 199 total tackles, seven sacks, eight interceptions, and 24 passes defended. In addition, he won the 2019 Jim Thorpe Award as college football's best defensive back.
