Luke Bryan To Play Gomer Pyle In Upcoming ‘Andy Griffith’ Movie?

Could it be that country music pretty boy Luke Bryan is pegged to play Gomer Pyle in an upcoming "Andy Griffith" movie? Luke Bryan has a certain charming, goofiness to him quite similar Gomer Pyle, so I can completely see why he could be asked to play the role. Now Ladies, I don't say goofiness in a bad way. It's actually why I like the guy, because I can tell he doesn't take himself too seriously. How cool would it be if Ron Howard would be writing/producing the film?

Ok, I'm completely making all of this up. But, if there ever WAS an Andy Griffith
movie, don't you think Luke should be Gomer Pyle?
