Marty Haggard’s ‘A Tribute to Merle Haggard’ Show Coming to New Iberia

Marty Haggard is coming to Acadiana to play a special show for fans of his dad, the legendary Merle Haggard.

On Friday, July 26th at 7 pm at the Sliman Theatre in New Iberia the Hag's oldest son will be paying tribute to his dad through stories and songs.

Tickets are currently on sale for the show and are $26 in advance (includes tax & fees). Those tickets are available online here.

Marty Haggard enjoyed some success as a solo country artist in the 1980s, even earning a Top New Male Vocalist nomination at the ACM Awards in 1988. He would also spend several years in his dad's backing band playing rhythm guitar and singing harmony.
