(KMDL-FM) Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery Offices in Baton Rouge have confirmed that a $30,000 winning lottery ticket was sold in Acadiana for Friday night's drawings. The $30,000 win is the first big lottery win on a Friday night in almost three months.

The big Louisiana winner was sold during the Friday night Mega Millions drawing. That game draws for its jackpots on Fridays and Tuesdays, and currently, Mega Millions boasts the largest single jackpot of any game that is played in Louisiana.

On Friday night, the estimated annualized jackpot for a Mega Millions winner was $604 million. The cash or lump sum payout was listed at $266.3 million. Needless to say there was no jackpot winner in Friday's Mega Millions
