New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell said in an interview with CNN that it's unlikely that New Orleans will have major festivals in 2020, and that not having any fans at Saints games "is the way to go".

Last night (04/17/20) in an interview with Wolf Blitzer, Mayor Cantrell discussed her position on how New Orleans should move forward with regards to concerts, festivals and the upcoming Saints season. Other major cities like New York and Los Angeles have said that large events are highly unlikely to happen for the remainder of 2020. Mayor Cantrell agrees.

From nola.com -

"Wolf Blitzer - NFL football? What about that?

Mayor Cantrell - I know that the NFL is working very hard to determine methods of re-engagement, like no fans present. I think that is the best way to go, but I know they're working very hard as it relates to not only the players but the staff that is required to even host a sporting event."

How bizarre would it be to listen to or watch a Saints game without a Superdome full of rowdy Who Dats?
