I love celebrating Independence Day. It's an easy holiday to pass a good time. All you need is good weather, hot dogs, about 27 beers and things that go boom in the night!

So what city could possibly be good at that? There's one in Louisiana that fits the bill. More on that in a bit.

The folks at WalletHub.com just ranked the 100 biggest cities in America from the best to worst place to celebrate the Fourth of July. The rankings were based on things like the weather forecast, parks, whether fireworks are legal, the number of fireworks shows, and beer prices.

And the top cities in order are:

  1. Seattle, Washington
  2. Minneapolis, Minnesota
  3. New Orleans, Louisiana
  4. Washington D.C.
  5. Portland, Oregon
  6. St. Louis, Missouri
  7. San Diego, California
  8. Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  9. San Francisco, California
  10. Orlando, Florida

And here are the bottom-dwellers:

  1. Laredo, Texas
  2. North Las Vegas, Nevada

  5. San Bernardino, California
  6. Arlington, Texas
  7. Garland, Texas
  8. Newark, New Jersey

Who knew that in the great state of Texas they don't know how to do the Fourth of July right? Y'all just come over to the fun state, we'll show you a good time!!
