It's officially called Noel Acadien au Village, but many of you know it as the lights at Acadian Village. Whatever you call it, one of the most enjoyed Christmas events in Acadiana is right around the corner.

LARC's Acadian Village will host their 36th annual Christmas fundraiser, Noel Acadien au Village, from December 1st to December 23rd. It's all to benefit persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Noel Acadien au Village will feature half-a-million lights, including new porch displays and attractions. There will also be carnival rides, local cuisine, holiday shopping and live entertainment nightly. Plus, the kids will get to take their picture with Santa Claus.

The Village will be open 5:30pm - 9:30pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and may be purchased one week prior to the event at any Shop Rite located throughout Acadiana. Tickets will be $10 at the gate. Children 4 years old and under get in free.
