Louisiana resident and 'Duck Dynasty' star Phil Robertson is no stranger to controversy. His comments on homosexuality and African Americans got him briefly fired from his hit A&E show in 2013, and later on, a video also surfaced of him extolling the benefits of marrying teenage girls. Let's just say Phil doesn't hold back.

Last Monday, the United States Justice Department announced it was suing North Carolina over its bathroom law, which basically says that men and women should use the bathroom that coincides with their gender at birth, and not what they identify with.

Clearly, Robertson took issue with the ruling, and, according to the Western Journalism website, sent out an email to conservative supporters. The email said, in part 'I’ve got a radical idea, men should use the men’s bathroom and women should use the women’s bathroom,” he wrote. “Just because a man may ‘feel’ like a woman doesn’t mean he should be able to share a bathroom with my daughter, or yours. That used to be called common sense. Now it’s called bigoted.'

I guess the ball is in A&E's court on this one - last time they tried to get rid of him because of his conservative views - his fans fired back. I don't think it's going to take long before we find out what happens next for the controversial reality star.
