Rayne Man Arrested In Alleged Child Abuse Case

25-year-old Quincy Booze of Rayne is behind bars, accused of child abuse.

Spokesperson Maxine Trahan with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says, after investigating a complaint levied on May 9th about the possible abuse, deputies met with family and arrested Booze for cruelty to a two-year-old male juvenile and simple battery domestic.

Booze's total bond has been set at $25,000.

The child was removed from the home, along with his other three siblings, by the Office of Child Services.
