Attempted Abduction In New Orleans Caught On Security Video

Thursday, January 27, 2022, at around 11:33 p.m. two men in what appeared to be ski masks attempted to abduct a woman, 34 years old, as she walked toward the intersection of Dauphine Street and Marigny Street in New Orleans.

The shocking event was all caught on a neighbor's surveillance camera.

According to N.O.P.D., the suspects let go of the woman and fled when they saw headlights from another vehicle coming toward them.

In the video, you'll see a black vehicle traveling towards the intersection come to a stop in front of the orange traffic cones.

A few seconds later, the woman, wearing a yellowish color shirt appears on the video as she walks towards the same intersection.

That's when two men in face coverings quickly exit the vehicle, one of whom runs up to the woman, grabs her, and attempts to shover her into the vehicle.

New Orleans police are hoping you might be able to provide some information to help point the investigation in the right direction.
