St Tammany Parish Coroner Writes Obituary for Saints Season
Let's be honest, we're still mad. And it might take a while to get over the shocking end to the Saint's season. But one Louisiana coroner has managed to find some humor in a pretty awful situation.
According to NOLA.com, the St Tammany Parish Coroner, Charles Preston, has written an obituary for the Saint's hopes for another Super Bowl appearance. From their office in Lacombe, 'The Saints Super Bowl berth died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest. Manner of death was homicide. With sufficient evidence captured on video, one would expect appropriate authorities to take action.' Preston also sympathized with millions of Saints fans, since he 'suffered trauma' too. We couldn't agree more.
The Saints lost the game in overtime 26-23 to the Los Angles Rams, and the stories are still coming in about the blown call from the NFL referees. We don't think this story is over yet.
