Louisiana State Police need your help in finding and identifying the drivers of vehicles involved in two separate fatal hit and run crashes this weekend. In both crashes, police have very little evidence to go on so your help is needed in solving these crimes.

The first fatal hit and run occurred on Friday evening on US Highway 190 in St. Landry Parish. Troopers say 52-year-old Kevin Bazar of Port Barre was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. Police do not have a description of the suspect vehicle but they believe the vehicle in question will have damage to the right side headlight, bumper, and hood.

The second fatal hit and run crash occurred early Saturday morning on I-10 in Lake Charles. State Police say a white Honda struck and killed a pedestrian. A vehicle matching that description was seen fleeing the scene just before 7 AM on Saturday morning.

State Police are asking for your help in locating both of these vehicles in hopes of locating the drivers responsible for these fatalities. If you have information on the Port Barre crash dial (337) 262-5889. In the Lake Charles crash dial (337)491-2511.
