A "Drag the Kids to Pride" event that happened at a gay bar in North Dallas over the weekend has one state legislator - and a whole lot of other people across the country - very upset.

The story hour that never was has now prompted changes in policy and protocol at Lafayette's libraries.

Passionate speakers addressed the Lafayette Public Library Board of Control with their views on Drag Queen Story Time last night.

A local group believes the City-Parish Council should weigh in publically on the Drag Queen Story Time issue.

Maybe the library could look in the direction of some other queens if this other story time idea doesn't work out?
