Target Recalling Toddler Boots Because Of Choking Hazard
Target Stores have announced a recall that could affect families with toddlers and small children in Acadiana. The stores are recalling the Cat & Jack “Chiara” toddlers’ unicorn boots in sizes 5-13, and size 1. The reason for the recall is a choking hazard.
Officials with Target are encouraging parents and caregivers to remove the boots in question from their homes immediately. Parents may bring the boots to any Target location for a full refund.
There have been no injuries or deaths reported from the boots but there have been four complaints noted nationwide. The hazard stems from a piece of the shoe that can become detached. The model number of the shoe/boot can be found on the inside tag of the boot.
