The 16th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off in Crowley on Saturday, February 1st

If you want to experience some of the best gumbo ever, then you need to head over to Crowley. The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 16^th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off in Crowley on Saturday, February 1^st.  Rising chefs in Acadia Parish will be giving your taste buds a treat with their versions of delicious gumbo. Make sure to go with an empty stomach because they will have over twenty different gumbos for tasting.  What will it take to win the title of  “Gumbo Champion”? Gumbo chefs will compete in 4 different categories including seafood, non-seafood with homemade roux and jar roux options for each. Awards will also be presented for “People’s Choice” and “Best Decorated Booth”.   The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff, volunteers, and teams invite you to join them for a fun-filled day in Historical Downtown Crowley at the Enterprise Center Grounds located at 11 N.
