In the world of the Lion King, there's the Circle of Life. In Louisiana, we have a similar circle, it's the circle of festivals. One of our state's largest and most widely acclaimed festivals is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.  We call it Jazz Fest for short and every year the musical lineup resembles a who's who of music.

Last year Jazz Fest had issues with both the Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac forced to cancel appearances at the festival. Both groups blamed the scheduling snafu on health issues with members of the bands. Now comes word, unofficially, via Pete Townsend, one of the founding members of the band The Who that they have Jazz Fest on their 2020 schedule.

We'll keep watching out for official information but if you're a fan of hits like Pinball Wizard, Who Are You?, and Baba O'Riley you may want to watch this space for updates along the way.
