The U.S. appeals court has restored New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady four-game suspension for his involvement in last year's Deflategate controversy.

espn.go.com reports "We hold that the Commissioner properly exercised his broad discretion under the collective bargaining agreement and that his procedural rulings were properly grounded in that agreement and did not deprive Brady of fundamental fairness."

The suspension will have Brady on the bench for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season. These games are against Arizona, Miami, Houston and Buffalo, with the last three of these games at home.
