This Labor Day weekend is going to be a sloppy one, just how sloppy we are still in process of figuring out that forecast. Right now the National Hurricane Center and Dave Baker are watching an area of disturbed weather in the Gulf of Mexico. Could this become Tropical Storm Lee? Right now the forecast models are suggesting at least a tropical depression but more than likely a named storm. Where will all this messy weather go?

The models are in great disagreement on that at this time too. The good news is we have time to do some early preparations. Now would be a great time to check your hurricane kit, make sure your batteries are good in your flashlight and make sure you remember where the manual can opener is. We will continue to monitor the situation with the weather in the Gulf and you can count on updates immediately when it comes to protecting your family and your property.
