What You Need to Know For Tonight’s Patty in the Parc
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! As you know by now, the biggest St. Patty's Day celebration is going down tonight at Parc International in downtown Lafayette as Guinness presents Patty in the Parc.
We want to help you get in as quickly as possible tonight so you can enjoy some Guinness, great music and all the festivities. Below are some of the frequently asked questions regarding Patty in the Parc.
What time does it start and when will it end? Gates open at 5pm and music starts at 6pm. Everything should be done by 10pm
Can I still buy tickets? Yes. Tickets are still available at EventBrite.com for $20 while supplies last. Limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the gate beginning at 5pm (cash only).
What's the music schedule? Wayne Toups will get the party started at 6pm. During the intermission there will be a fun "Battle of the DJs" then Better Than Ezra hits the stage at 8:30pm.
Is it kid-friendly? Absolutely! You don't need a babysitter. As a matter of fact, kids 10 and under are admitted free. But please leave your pets at home.
Can I bring a lawn chair? Yes, just keep in mind that we're expected a large crowd so you will likely have to set your chairs up towards the back of the park.
Are outside food and drinks allowed? No, sorry, but please leave your ice chests at home. There will be plenty of ice cold beverages and hot delicious food for sale inside the parc.
Remember that if you plan to enjoy adult beverages, you must have your valid state issued I.D. There will also be a special booth for designated drivers where they can get water and soda for free.
Don't forget to take a picture with your group of party-goers at the T-Mobile Photo Booth which will be set up in the parc. You'll get a free printed picture on the spot.
