A new Gallup poll asked people if their state is the best place to live in the United States. The results showed us that Louisianans don't think a whole lot of their state.

Not a shock though, the people of Montana and Alaska have the most pride in their state. 77% of people in those states say their state in the union rocks the most.

The rest of the top 10 are Hawaii, Montana, Wyoming, Texas, North Dakota, Colorado, Utah, and Vermont.

On the other end, the state where the most people say it's the worst place to live is Rhode Island. Only 18% of residents are ready to praise their state.

The rest of the bottom 10 include Illinois, Connecticut, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Maryland, and New Mexico.

Yep, Louisiana ranked fourth from the bottom with only 27% of residents thinking it's the best state to live in. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the weather, our rankings with health care and education and the like.
