2021 Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival Canceled

For the second year in a row, Parc Hardy will be vacant during the first weekend of May.

The 2021 Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival has been canceled. The organization that hosts the annual celebration of the crustacean made that announcement on Facebook Friday morning.

"With the restrictions put in place by the Governor and the current conditions of COVID 19 we would not be able to put on a festival in the manner that our patrons have become accustomed to," wrote Mark Bernard, the president of the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival Association Board of Directors.

The board says it plans to host the festival in 2022.
