Acadiana Legend Antoine ‘Pops’ Melancon Has Passed Away

If you've ever been to Cowboy's, and I mean ever at any time in your life, you've probably met him. You may have even danced with him. Parks native Antoine "Pops" Melancon has sadly passed away.

As Pops had written on his Facebook page, he was indeed a "dance, dance, dance, dance, dancing machine...".  

Pops didn't just dance at Cowboy's, he danced everywhere he went. If music could be heard, Pops was asking someone to dance!
