Acadiana Parishes Open Sandbag Sites Ahead of Tropical Storm Bertha — Find the Location Nearest You

ACADIANA - With Tropical Storm Bertha heading to South Louisiana, parishes across Acadiana have opened up sandbag locations for residents.

Below is the list of locations where you can get sandbags in your parish. At most locations, you are asked to bring a shovel and prepare to fill your own sandbags.

Iberia Parish Sandbag Locations

Shovels will not be provided and residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags.

• Coteau Fire Station
• Delcambre Water Tower
• Grand Marais Fire Station
• Loreauville City Park
• Lydia Fire Station
• Jeanerette Fire Department
• Rynella Fire Department

Lafayette Parish Sandbag Locations — Carencro High School Helping Tuesday Morning

The Carencro High School football team will be filling and loading sandbags Tuesday, July 21, starting at 10 a.m. at the following location:

• The City of Carencro, Carencro Community Center - 5115 N. University Avenue

St. Martin Parish Sandbag Locations — 25-Bag Limit Per Vehicle

Please bring a shovel and be prepared to fill your own sandbags. There is a limit of 25 bags per vehicle.

• Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park - 1028 Catahoula Hwy, St. Martinville
• Coteau Holmes Park - 1514 Coteau Holmes Hwy, St. Martinville
