With heavy rains predicted across Acadiana over the next few days, parishes across Acadiana have opened up sandbag locations for residents.

Below is the list of locations where you can get sandbags in your parish. At most locations, you are asked to bring a shovel and prepare to fill your own sandbags.

Operated by Lafayette Consolidated Government. Limited to 20 bags per household.

  • North District Site - 400 Dugas Road (LCG Compost Facility off North University)
  • Picard Park - 130 Park Lane
  • Robicheaux Recreation Center - 1919 Eraste Landry Road (with automated sandbagging machine)
  • Graham Brown Memorial Park - 1234 E Pont Des Mouton Rd

Lafayette Parish Municipal Sandbag Sites: Broussard, Carencro, Duson, Scott, and Youngsville

Operated by individual municipalities.
