This morning, temperatures will rise into the low 60s by mid-morning. Then, the winds will shift and begin to bring in much cooler air for the afternoon hours. This afternoon, temperatures will fall through the middle 50s, and the winds will howl out of the north with gusts up to 25 mph.

This is our reminder not to be a big shot, and to take a jacket to work or school. You'll be wanting that jacket later this afternoon.  Louisiana's next major storm threat will come this weekend.
