Bruce & Jude Singing Karaoke Today at Larry’s Super Foods in Kaplan to Pay Off Bet

I'm Jude Walker, diehard New Orleans Saints fan, and I have a problem. I am so optimistic that I convinced Bruce Mikells that it would be okay to bet our buddy Troy Maturin that the Saints would beat the Minnesota Vikings in the first game of the 2017 season.

Admitting your flaws, I believe, is the first step in recovery...

Ahhh, who am I kidding, I'll be a naive Saints fan for the rest of my life! But for today, I'm bringing my pal Bruce down with me.

Because he and I lost this bet, we will be performing karaoke (yeah, let's go with that) today beginning at noon in the parking lot of Larry's Super Foods in Kaplan located at 1313 W Veterans Drive.

The original bet was that if we lost we would sing karaoke from the bed of the 97.3 The Dawg truck in the parking lot of the store for one hour. However, we wanted to turn this into a positive (because we're positive that no one wants to hear us sing).

We're asking patrons to stop by and donate non-perishable food items in our special bin. Once the bin is full we'll stop singing and all the goods will go to a local food bank in Vermilion Parish.

Or feel free to come by and sing with us. We'll have some fun with this. And eventually I'll learn to never bet on the Saints again.
