Bye Bye Reggie, Saints Trading Bush (Update)

First Ricky Williams, now Reggie Bush. According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, the Saints have agreed to trade Reggie Bush to the Miami Dolphins. The deal is apparently contigent upon Reggie working out a new contract with Miami.

Of course this comes as a surprise to no one since Reggie was scheduled to make $11.8 million this season and would've counted $16 million towards the salary cap. The only hope the Saints had of keeping him would have been if a salary restructure could have happened.

Since the Saints drafted Bush in 2006, he's shown flashes of brilliance but as us members of the Who Dat Nation know, the consistency was never there. He did help us to that fantastic Super Bowl win in the great city of....MIAMI!

***UPDATE - From ESPN, Reggie Bush has agreed to a 2-year deal with Miami worth $10 million. Still no word on what the Saints are getting in return.
