It had to be tough to be out there.

By now you may have heard that the offensive coordinator for the LSU Tigers football team, Coach Steve Ensminger, lost his daughter-in-law in the plane crash last Saturday morning in Lafayette. Carley McCord, who was a sports journalist, was one of five passengers that perished in a plane crash last weekend in Lafayette.

Ensminger was notified of the tragedy prior to LSU's playoff game but he elected to work through the pain and do his job. During pre-game warmups, you could see how visibly distraught Coach E was.

For his dedication, Coach O rewarded Coach Ensminger with the game ball following the blowout win against Oklahoma. Coach E was given the game ball in the locker room while other coaches and players looked on.

The moto fo the LSU Tiger is "One Team, One Heartbeat" and that was certainly on display this past Saturday in Atlanta.

We would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to all of the families affected by this tragedy in Lafayette.
