Home Where Marilyn Monroe Died Up For Sale
On August 5th,1962 the most famous actress in history passed away at the age of 36. Marilyn Monroe died, allegedly, of an overdose of barbiturates /suicide at her home at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in Brentwood, California.
That home, which was the first one she ever purchased by herself, without a husband, is now up for sale for a cool $6.9 million. The home is 2,624 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a pool, and a citrus grove on the property. It has never been designated a historic home, even though it has had several owners in the years since it's most famous resident occupied the hacienda style bungalow. It's beautiful, but the history makes it a little creepy at the same time. Would you buy it?
