As I promised, here is our newest video for our Insane Inflatable 5K training with Coach Brian Broussard from Fit Life. This video focuses on overcoming any injuries that you have sustained whether they are new or old. These injuries can vary from old car accident injuries, like Chris, to the all too familiar charlie horses (which we ALL know are not serious but are a pain in the rear end). In this video, Coach Brian talks you through a number of these injuries and how to maintain them if you wish to participate in the Insane Inflatable 5K.

For me, after day two, a very large bruise showed up on my calf and it turned out to be a large knot in my muscle. Walking and putting any kind of pressure on it was very painful. Here is what I learned: it's all about how you warm up! Make sure that you are warming up properly and not putting too much stress on any part of the body, especially if you haven't worked out in a while, or at all. The Insane Inflatable 5K will no doubt be a ton of fun and we don't want to have any of you miss because of any kind of injuries. I hope this video was helpful (and made you laugh)!

The Insane Inflatable 5K is set for November 2nd at Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino. If you haven't registered and would like to, do so before November 1st and registration cost is $59 (more than $15 savings). Day of registration will be $75. There are also All Access Passes available for $100 and get you into ANY wave even if it is full. But hurry because the waves for the day are almost completely full! We will see you there!
