Louisiana Woman Charged With Murder for Breastfeeding Infant While High on Meth
A Louisiana woman has been charged with the murder of her infant daughter after confessing to police she was high on meth and marijuana while breastfeeding her child.
Autumn Blansett, 31 of Marrero was arrested and charged with second-degree murder Friday (12/11/20). According to KNOE.com, "Detectives say a toxicology report showed the baby had a lethal amount of methamphetamine in her blood at the time of her death."
In November 1, police responded to a 911 call from Blanset's home to find her baby unresponsive. KNOE.com reports the infant was pronounced dead at the scene.
