One Person Dead, Another Injured in Early Morning Crash
Sad news to report here in the Hub City as one person is dead and another is in a local hospital following a two-car accident on Gloria Switch Road at Mills Street in Lafayette (just outside of Carencro).
State police received the call around 12:45 this morning.
Witnesses say one of the vehicles caught fire with a passenger trapped inside.
No other details have been released at this time.
