Skin Care Tips for the Guys

It's a given that women care a little more about their skin and complexion than your average, manly man. Sure, there are plenty of guys who wash their face with the latest acne cleanser, but I also know a lot of men who don't even have a facial cleanser anywhere in their house. I found some great skin care tip just for you guys, thanks to WebMd. 

Apparently, men get more blackheads on their face than women because men don't do anything about them. When a woman has a pimple or blackhead, you will see her sitting on the bathroom sink and squeezing the life out of it. Squeezing is not the answer because it can lead to more breakouts and even acne scars. A better solution is to use a face wash which contains salicylic acid; this dries out the pimple or blackhead asap.

Moisturizers, face washes, and creams are NOT only made for women. Since men do tend to have oilier skin than women, a gel or serum may be better than a heavy cream. Also, it is extremely important for men to understand the importance of sunscreen. Construction workers, lawn mowers, roofers, professional fisherman, etc.- wear sunscreen! Melanoma is not cool!

Lastly, if your wife is always hassling you to shave your prickly face, do it! Shaving is a great way to exfoliate the skin because it gets rid of dead cells which makes skin look old, tired, and dull. Hmm... very interesting you might be thinking. See guys, it isn't that difficult to protect your skin and keep it looking purty!
