Lafayette Target Stores Affected As Global Outage Impacts Checkout Lines

Your Target run may not get done—at least not today.

KATC's Chris Welty posted this photo of the Target on Ambassador Caffery as a global outage has affected stores across the nation. Some stores have even temporarily closed due to the registers going down.

The issue is reportedly affecting payment and inventory systems as Target says they are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Apparently, they're feeding folks to keep them happy during this mishap, which is pretty much the most Target thing ever.
