Furniture, it's not sexy, it's not epic, it's not the stuff that action heroes are made of. It's, well, furniture. Most furniture has two basic design components, functionality and aesthetic appeal. So what makes us buy the furniture we choose?

Women buy furniture based upon how it will look in the home. Men buy furniture based on how useful or comfortable it's going to be. The amount of energy and effort it takes to move the furniture is very seldom taken into consideration until the time comes for it to actually be moved.

That is when the design on this table could be life changing. As you can see there is no more lifting with the legs or threat of back strain. The table literally walks across the living space to its new location. If only they could apply this technology to pianos!
