Universal Studios Shuts Down Jaws Attraction

The analogy of a fish out of water might be coming true for thrill seekers in Orlando Florida's Universal Studios theme park. What was once considered a must see attraction at the central Florida theme park has been closed. Jaws is no longer open as January 2nd.

Who finally killed the giant fish from the movie of the same name? The rumors floating around Universal point to a broom riding wizard from Hogwarts! That's right Harry Potter and the success of the Harry Potter attractions at Universal appear to be poised to take over the prime real estate now occupied by Jaws.

Park officials have not officially confirmed the Potter move but they do say the 20 year run of Jaws will not be forgotten inside the park. If you never had the chance, or were too scared to ride Jaws, here is what all the fuss is about!
