Obviously this little fellow shares the common bond I share with bacon, he loves it. I think he believes a house without bacon is a house not worthy of living in.
I don't know how many times I have been burned by a kid winner on the radio. You expect an excited reaction and you get...nothing. Al Roker knows this feeling all too well.
A young man put on a banana costume and ran around the football field during halftime of his schools recent game. He received lots of cheers and applause from the crowd, he was also suspended from school. WHAT?!?!
Would you ever do this to your kid? Luke and I find it a bit on the comical side. The last two kids they "pranked" had to be the best reaction.
These kids' outfits would surely make even Scrooge (whoops wrong holiday) smile!

Isn't it funny what things will quiet and calm and fussy baby? For this adorable but fussy baby, the theme to Parks and Recreation turns that frown upside down.
Do you remember when you were a teenager and the world revolved around you? I do too, it was a short memory because my parents made sure to smack some reality right up-side-my-head and straighten me out. Can you imagine what it would be like to be given a new car for your birthday? Can you imagine being as ungrateful as this ....well... uh...person?
This is what Dads do when there is no Mom around. We let the kids do crazy things for our own amusement. Actually this video is about teaching children goals and reaching for their dreams and earning the reward for a job well done.
You might want to disconnect your adorable meter on your computer before watching this video. This is so precious there is no doubt that the cuteness scale and the adorable meter will be broken after you watch. Kids and weddings are always great fodder for film and video and this one doesn't disappoint.
One of the joys of eating popsicles as a kid was having the stick to play with after you were through. I know it sounds mundane and prehistoric but that's what we kids did before there was an internet to play with. The art of using friction and pressure to creat a popsicle stick bomb was highly coveted in my neighborhood.

When we use what we have been given, what ever that gift may be, to make a positive change for our world that is when life suddenly makes sense. This video is a grand illustration of the power of a smile. I promise you, watching this video will give your day a great new outlook. There are good people quietly doing good things across the world.
I remember the wise words my Dad said to me after I tried out for the baseball team when I was 11 years old. When I asked him how I did, he replied, "Son there has to be somebody up in the stands to watch the game, and it looks like that somebody is going to be you". With that my dreams of playing first base came crashing down but my desire to sit and talk about baseball and other things
As a parent I never know exactly how my kids might react in certain situations. As my kids have gotten older their reactions have become a lot more predictable, tainted with sarcasm, embarrassment and the rolling of eyes. There was a time when my son was a lot like this little fellow, concerned with the unlikely and improbable only to see his worst fears come true.
At first glance you'd probably think the answer to the question, "Does your birth month determine your career path", would be no. How can something so random as the month you arrive into the world have anything to do with what you wind up doing to put food on the table. Oddly enough there seems to be some rather unique occurrences that suggest strongly that the month we are born has a lo
