Alexandria Man Accused Of Trafficking Acadia Parish Girl
LAKE CHARLES--An Alexandria man is facing kidnapping and human trafficking charges after authorities say he had sex with a 13-year-old runaway from Acadia Parish and tried to prostitute her for gas money.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, Blake Jenkins, 28, picked up the girl from her home and brought her to Lake Charles, where their alleged tryst took place. Detectives say Jenkins asked the girl to have sex with other men so he could get gas money. Detectives also say Jenkins left the teen at a casino while he went to work and asked her to prostitute herself while he was away.
Jenkins remains in the Calcasieu Parish Jail on $80,000 bond.
