1966: Merle Haggard's Swinging Doors was released featuring one of our favorite tunes 'The Bottle Let Me Down'

1969: Johnny Cash his #1 on the US Country charts with his album At San Quentin which won him numerous Grammy awards. These include Best Male Country Vocal Performance for his hit 'A Boy Named Sue'
