Historic flooding has affected our region and a video recently uploaded to YouTube shows waterflow into the Sabine River exceeded that of Niagara Falls.

The video was uploaded by Patrick McCormic and shows more than 207,000 cubic feet of water per second being released through the Toledo Bend dam. The video was filmed on March 10, and shows 1.5 million gallons of water per second rushing through the dam's gate.

According to NiagaraParks.com Niagara Falls averages about 100,000 cfs of water flow.
