People Are Furious Over Actress Kaley Cuoco’s July 4th Instagram Picture [Pic]

The “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco's attempt to spread some patriotism this past 4th of July has landed her in some seriously hot water with some people. You see, it's probably not a good idea to use an American flag as a blanket for your dogs to sit on, especially not on America's Birthday.

Cuoco posted this picture of two of her dogs sitting on an American flag to Instagram on Monday. The caption on the pic reads “Thank you @the_pet_handler for taking care of the squad while im out of town! 4^th of July pups!!!!!!!”.

The picture has been deleted, but not before pagesix.com grabbed a screen shot of it.

If I'm understanding this right, it wasn't even Cuoco who did this, but in fact her pet handler who was taking care of her dogs while she was away.

You see, it's not an American flag beach towel, it's an actual American flag, a flag that should never touch the ground.

To be honest, I don't think Cuoco was trying to be controversial, UN-American or disrespectful. Quite the opposite I think, just a misguided action. It wasn't a very well thought out decision, because you should never do anything like this with an American flag, but I definitely don't think this was done to make a statement.
