Target is once again having their seat trade-in event this April at all locations around the Country. Here's what you need to know...

Now through April 17, 2021 you can turn in your old car seat or car seat base at Target and receive a "20 percent off Target coupon to purchase one new item of baby gear, including strollers and car seats" according to KLFY.

Drop-off boxes are available near Guest Services inside of all Target locations.

Target, along with Waste Management will recycle all of the car seats and bases collected and use them to create new items such as construction materials, plastic pallets, buckets and more.

According to Target.com you "must be enrolled in Target Circle to participate in the trade-in and receive a coupon."

Target's car seat trade-in program was started in 2016, and since then they have recycled more than 1,100,000 car seats.
