In real estate it's location, location, location. In weather it's timing, timing and timing. Right now the timing seems to indicate that many communities' decision to move trick-or-treating to tonight instead of waiting for Halloween night will be a good one.

Dave Baker's forecast for the next couple of days indicates that the rain may be moving into Acadiana a little sooner than expected and could be heavier than we first thought. Rain chances for Thursday will increase to 60% by the afternoon hours. A 70% chance of rain is forecast for Halloween night with the potential of heavy downpours and maybe some severe weather.

The light at the end of the tunnel is that the weekend appears to be spectacular for Homecoming events at U.L.
